All recipients of Gift Cards are required to activate their Gift Card. You will be required to register an account (orlog intoyour existing account if you have already registered an account previously) and then activate the Gift Card against your account.Your Gift Card will then be ready to use and spend at any of the locations listed above. Within the portal you will be able to manage your Gift Card including checking your balance, retrieving your Gift Card PIN number and also marking your Gift Card lost/stolen.
Your Nakheel Malls Gift Card is valid for a period of 12 months. The Gift Card will expire exactly one year from the purchase date.
Your Gift Card is used the same way as any other Mastercardproduct. Simply present your card to the retailer and enter your 4 digit PIN into the payment device or credit card machine. The Gift Card can be used as part payment for higher value purchases than the balance available on the Nakheel Malls Gift Card. The card can be used for multiple transactions until the balance has been fully spent or the Gift Card has expired.

No. Nakheel Malls Gift Card cannot be used to withdraw cash from an ATM.
Most retailer refunds take up to 5 business (Sunday-Thursday) days to be applied to the balance of the Gift Card, depending on the retailers banking system, but can in some cases take longer. We regret that we have no influence over the speed of retailers banking systems.
If your PIN is entered incorrectly three (3) times when carrying out a transaction, your card will be blocked. You should contact our customer service team on +971 (0) 4 5668303 during mall operational hours, who will carry out security checks to verify that you are the genuine cardholder. The customer service team will unblock your card and you will then need to retrieve your PIN by visiting www.nakheelmallsgiftcard.com. It may take twenty-four hours from the time the customer service team unblock your card for it become available for further use.

Once the Gift Card has expired the card is invalid.
There is a 90 days grace period for re-activation of Gift Cards with a balance greater than AED 15. There is a fee of AED 15 to reactivate your Nakheel Malls Gift Card which will be deducted from the available balance on the card at the time of activation.
The card is a gift card and funds will not be refunded to you once they have been loaded on the card. You can access the funds for Point of Sale (POS) transactions during the validity period and grace period, subject to successful re-activation.
If you have lost / had your gift card stolen you can log into your Gift Card Account and mark the card as lost/stolen,. Alternatively, you can contact our customer service team on +971 (0) 45668303 during mall operational hours, who will be able to locate and block your Gift Card. In both scenarios you will be presented with a reference number to collect a replacement Gift Card at our Customer Service Desks.There is a fee of 15 AED to replace your Nakheel Malls Gift Card which will be deducted from the available balance on the card at the time of replacement.

Issuance Fee: AED 15 for the electronic activation of the Gift Card making it available for use;
Re – activation Fee: AED 15 for extending the expiry date of the Gift Card; and
Replacement Fee: AED 15 for replacing a lost, stolen or damaged Gift Card.
The fees associated with re – activation and replacement will be deducted from the available balance remaining on the expired, lost, stolen or damaged card in question.
Gift Cards are single load only; they cannot be topped up or reloaded.
